Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Administer therapeutic interventions that align with current best practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring timely documentation of patient interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Provide education, resources, and support to patients and their families, empowering them through their mental health journeys.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by staying informed about advancements in mental health treatment and policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW, you will work with a diverse range of patients, from young adults facing anxiety and depression to individuals navigating complex trauma histories. Our clinic emphasizes a patient-centered approach, fostering a therapeutic environment where each client feels heard and respected. By utilizing innovative treatment modalities, you will play a crucial role in supporting their recovery and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Michigan.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, preferably within mental health services.
• Experience working with patients in detox or recovery settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic record systems and telehealth practices.
