Scheduling Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring patients can access the care they need at YVFWC. By managing high - volume scheduling activities, verifying patient information, and coordinating appointments across care teams, this position supports smooth clinic operations and continuity of care.

Position Highlights:

• 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
  
• $18.47-$22.62/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

What You'll Do:

• Manage the scheduling phone queue and schedule patient appointments according to provider guidelines and clinic needs
  
• Verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and eligibility information at the time of scheduling
  
• Communicate appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling information to patients
  
• Manage scheduling work queues, including cancellations, no - shows, recalls, and waitlists
  
• Assess patient needs and coordinate scheduling with Patient Benefits Coordinators as appropriate
  
• Provide outreach calls and backup support to front office teams as needed
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
  
• One year of experience in an office, administrative, patient care, call center, or customer service role
  
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills required at a level 9
  
• Experience scheduling appointments in a healthcare or call center setting is a plus
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast - paced environment
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, providers, and staff
  
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
