We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Promise Care Mental and Wellness Center. In this full-time role, you will provide individualized mental health counseling to adults who present with stable, low-acuity issues. The e-health services we provide are conducted through our user-friendly counseling platform, designed for efficiency and ease of use, enabling you to focus more on client care and less on logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective virtual counseling sessions through video chat, ensuring that communication remains clear and therapeutic.
• Perform thorough assessments of client needs and challenges, utilizing standardized tools to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Guide clients in developing vital coping skills, problem-solving strategies, and effective communication methods tailored to their specific situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress reports with minimal paperwork load, allowing more time for interaction with clients.
• Collaborate with other professionals when necessary to provide holistic care and support to your clients, ensuring comprehensive treatment pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with adults experiencing stable, low-acuity mental health concerns. This demographic often includes individuals seeking assistance for anxiety, mild depression, or adjustment issues. As a therapist in our team, you will help empower these clients to overcome their challenges and improve their quality of life, reinforcing the notion that mental health support is an essential component of overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Active state licensure in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD—an independent license without supervision is mandatory.
• Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients in a remote setting.
• No past disciplinary actions against your license, ensuring ethical practice standards are met.
• Proficient computer skills and a reliable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate seamless online sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with adult populations in a therapeutic setting, particularly in online or telehealth frameworks.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities to cater to diverse client needs.
• Prior experience in developing treatment plans and conducting assessments tailored to individual client characteristics.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. As part of your employment, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
