Care of Soul Psychological Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As an LCSW, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support to students within school settings, addressing their mental health concerns, and contributing to their overall well-being.

Work Environment
This remote position allows for flexibility while focusing on school settings where our services will be delivered. The ideal candidate will engage with educators, school administrators, and families to create a supportive network for students facing various mental health challenges. Although primarily remote, participation in occasional in-person meetings may be required to strengthen collaboration with school staff.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough psychiatric assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to address the unique mental health needs of students.
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) based on individualized assessments and client preferences.
- Maintaining meticulous and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and school psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care and promote a holistic educational environment.
- Delivering psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance understanding and support systems.
- Engaging in clinical supervision and peer consultations to refine clinical skills and improve treatment outcomes.
- Staying updated with advancements in mental health practices, legislation, and research to continually enhance treatment efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will focus on students from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Understanding the unique context and pressures that young individuals face today is essential. By fostering a safe and confidential space, you will empower students to express their feelings and develop coping strategies that enhance their academic and personal success.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited higher education institution.
- A current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services within educational or outpatient settings.
- Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities, particularly solution-focused and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with children and adolescents.
- Highly developed problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills to effectively address complex situations.
- Capacity to collaborate and function effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents is preferred. Familiarity with educational frameworks, school mental health initiatives, and community resources in Arizona will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
