Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to create individualized therapy plans that suit the unique needs of each client.
- Provide a range of therapeutic interventions including evidence-based practices for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy to promote effective healing.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance outcomes.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends in mental health research and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your expertise will serve a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges. This includes those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and substance misuse. We focus on providing services to clients who may be underserved or lack prior access to mental health resources, emphasizing inclusivity and empathy in our therapeutic approach.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
- A valid and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Colorado is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment, is essential to fulfilling this role.
- A solid grounding in legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice is necessary.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are vital for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in collaborating with a healthcare team to enhance client care and outcomes is crucial.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth technologies will contribute to your success in this position.
Preferred Experience
- Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care is highly desired.
- Experience working with substance misuse cases and developing tailored treatment programs is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000, dictated by your experience and caseload availability. Additional benefits include:
