Work Environment

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work from home, with the option of visiting our outpatient office in Chandler as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients to identify their unique mental health needs and develop customized treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to deliver high-quality therapy services, including individual, group, and family sessions tailored to various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Collaborate regularly with case managers and psychiatrists to coordinate care and enhance support systems for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental wellness.
- Implement crisis intervention protocols when clients experience acute distress, using your clinical judgment and compassionate communication skills to stabilize their situation.
- Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and increasing access to resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be serving clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, reflecting the varied community of Chandler and surrounding areas. Qualifications
- An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
- Completion of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Cultural sensitivity and competence, with experience working effectively with diverse populations to ensure inclusive care.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and time-management skills, enabling you to maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance standards.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a community mental health setting or outpatient care.
- Prior involvement in crisis intervention and emergency mental health situations.
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques for various mental health disorders.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and credentials. Privia Mental and Wellness Center also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
