Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' individual and relational mental health needs.
- Implementing tailored therapeutic interventions for couples and families, while also providing individual therapy as necessary.
- Specializing in various issues including addiction, abuse (both physical and psychological), grief, family conflict, blended family dynamics, and adjustment to divorce.
- Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop and implement effective treatment plans aimed at achieving positive client outcomes.
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational protocols.
- Engaging in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and share insights that contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work as an LMFT will primarily focus on couples and families, allowing you to make a significant impact on a diverse range of patients, including adults and adolescents facing unique challenges. By addressing issues like job stress, medical concerns, communication difficulties, and family conflicts, you will help clients navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, leading them towards healthier relationships and improved mental health.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Must hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
- Possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and clinical excellence in mental health care.
Preferred Experience
While we welcome both newly licensed and experienced candidates, preference will be given to those who:
- Have a history of providing therapy within a community health setting.

Compensation and Benefits
