Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and individualized evaluations to tailor therapy strategies for each client, ensuring culturally sensitive practices.
- Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for diverse groups, families, couples, and individuals; methods may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records following ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrist and social workers, to coordinate client care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying abreast of the latest mental health research trends, which in turn enhances your therapeutic effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a broad array of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse. Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling role, demonstrating the ability to provide effective therapy to varied populations.
Preferred Experience
- Specialized skills in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment are highly desirable.
- Experience with virtual counseling platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems is an asset.
