Work Environment
This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. While you will primarily work from the comfort of your home, you will connect regularly with a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care. Our virtual platforms facilitate seamless communication and case management to ensure that you maintain a strong rapport with colleagues and clients alike. Your standard working hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility as needed based on client appointments and care requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth clinical assessments using a strengths-based approach, applying evidence-based practices to formulate tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other proven counseling techniques to address client needs.
- Document and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times.
- Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to design integrated treatment strategies that promote holistic care.
- Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights and enhance the quality of care delivered within the team.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic processes, and available community resources, equipping them to navigate their recovery journey.
- Continuously update your knowledge by staying informed on the latest research, methodologies, and advancements in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive illnesses. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and varying life experiences, giving you the opportunity to implement personalized approaches that cater to their specific situations. You will play a key role in guiding clients toward healthier mental states, assisting them in developing coping strategies and life skills through your therapeutic expertise.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- An active state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Strong knowledge of solution-focused therapies and a commitment to employing personalized care strategies for diverse client needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with clients and colleagues effectively.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex client situations.
- Experience working within interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Three or more years of experience in a clinical mental health setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, enhancing service delivery in a remote environment.
- Background in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or specialized therapeutic approaches pertinent to the needs of clients.
