Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule, while also providing opportunities for in-person sessions at our outpatient office in Chicago as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather insights into clients' mental health issues, strengths, and available resources.
- Facilitate effective individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique context.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans with clearly defined goals and evidence-based interventions, leveraging methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic care and seamless integration of services.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment services when clients are in acute distress, developing safety plans and intervention strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.
- Lead psychoeducation and therapy groups to enhance the overall therapeutic experience for clients and address common issues faced by families.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse client base, ranging from individuals seeking support for personal issues to couples and families looking to strengthen their relationships. This role is crucial in addressing varying levels of mental health challenges across different demographics, with a keen focus on therapeutic interventions aimed at fostering emotional resilience and personal growth.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances.
- Sound assessment skills to accurately identify clients' challenges and strengths.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of experience within a mental health or outpatient treatment setting.
- Proficient knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and familiarity with related therapeutic approaches.
- Experience in group therapy facilitation and psychoeducational programming.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience, in addition to performance-based bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
