Key Responsibilities
As an LMFT at Rebuilding Lives Psychotherapy Center, you will:
- Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment conducive to healing.
- Conduct assessments to identify family dynamics and communication barriers, while developing personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing issues such as conflict, grief, and relationship challenges.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy, providing appropriate interventions for clients dealing with various psychological and emotional concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any relevant administrative tasks to support effective case management.
- Participate in regular training and professional development to stay updated on trends in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will involve working closely with a varied client population, including diverse family structures, couples facing separation or divorce, and individuals navigating grief, loss, or mental health challenges. You will address topics such as blended family dynamics, communication difficulties, and job-related stress, emphasizing a holistic approach to client care.
Qualifications
- A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting rapport with clients.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively while meeting administrative deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in conducting family therapy sessions that address complex issues, including substance abuse and domestic conflicts.
- Proficiency with telehealth services and willingness to adapt to technology-assisted therapy modalities.
- A background in crisis intervention and acute case management.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our generous benefits package includes:
