Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues.
- Conduct thorough client interviews to gather relevant personal, social, and health-related information, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
- Evaluate and treat a range of psychological issues, advancing appropriate therapeutic strategies within the scope of social work practice.
- Coordinate and implement programs and activities tailored to meet the social, emotional, and mental health requirements of clients.
- Manage and facilitate cognitive and behavioral health cases, ensuring timely crisis interventions, and referrals to community resources, thus strengthening our community ties.
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships founded on mutual respect, acceptance, and trust to foster a safe environment for client engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services, adapting approaches as necessary to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Manage a caseload effectively while ensuring that case documentation remains current and reflective of the services provided.
- Provide individual clinical counseling, assisting clients through various stages of their therapeutic journeys.
- Adhere to additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to organizational needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, the LCSW will engage with a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals dealing with complex health challenges within hospice settings. Clients may include patients experiencing chronic illness, end-of-life transitions, grief, anxiety, and depression. The social worker will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes, promoting resilience and coping strategies within the family unit.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical social work or a closely related area.
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated competence in counseling practices addressing behavioral health issues such as depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, relationship conflicts, and grief.
- Experience working within hospice care or similar settings is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to expedite care delivery effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
The Salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
