Overview
The *Activities Assistant *will assist in the coordinating, supervising and implementing of the activities in the Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing units. This is a full-time position with a schedule that includes some evenings and weekends. Additional hours may be available as needed.
*Shift*: *Part Time *
Responsibilities
* Implementing a broad activity program to meet resident needs.
* planning, directing and carrying out a program which covers recreation and educational development
* Transporting residents to and from outings
Qualifications
* *Education*: High School Diploma is required
* *Experience: *One to two years' activities assisting is preferred
* Must possess a caring, compassionate, energetic personality and a desire to provide entertaining and stimulating activities to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of residents
* Must be detail oriented and have excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities
* Must be willing to drive bus for resident outings
